Coastal Ironworks is family owned, founded and led by John Bates who has over 25 years of building experience in San Luis Obispo County. Our company specializes in custom deck railings, handrails, gates, interior/exterior balconies and structural fabrication. John was born and raised in the San Luis Obispo area and has a passion for designing and creating metalwork that stands the test of time.
